Scott Furman first started his window business in 1985 when he decided that he wanted to sell windows, but he wanted to do it the right way. The right way was to see a customer, give them the best price and let them know where to call if they were interested. He also wanted to give great customer service; great customer service to Scott Furman is to do the job exactly the way it was said it was going to be done and in the time frame that it was contracted to be done. He also gave free service calls. References? His customer list are his references. It was then that Northern Windows and Siding was born.
Through the years, clients began asking about siding work on their homes. Well - the window business has taken off so well that they just didn't have time to add another service. But eventually, Scott realized that since so many people were asking him about it, it was his duty to provide the service to his customers. He also decided that by adding another revenue stream to his business he was able to keep his prices down.
As customers needs changed through the years, so has Northern. Homeowners wanted to make one phone call for all their exterior renovations. Adding roofing has made Northern Windows, Siding & Roofing the one stop shop for remodeling homes.
Years later, Northern Windows, Siding & Roofing expanded so much that they decided it was time for a move. They had outgrown their Chester, New York location and were now looking for something larger in a new location. They found it on East Main Street in Middletown, New York. Furman saw the opportunity to buy a good sized building at a reasonable price in a great location. The problem; the building needed a massive facelift.
Who better to give a complete overhaul of a building that was in shambles, but Northern Windows, Siding & Roofing themselves? They gutted the building first and basically kept the frame.
